I am currently using a WordPress plugin called Zemanta as I am writing this posting.  I will attempt to post below another article online as suggested by this software plugin.  I am using the keywords – video marketing

is another example of how fast this will saturate the markets.  This is not a fad or a phase that will begin to fade out in months to come.  It is absolutely the opposite truth.

Most internet marketers agree with the statement,

I received my email this morning with a posting from a successful internet marketing entreprenuer named Sean Platt.  The posting was an article on, “Becoming A Writing and Marketing Machine”.  Sean was reviewing an artist and his techniques of delivery.  A very well written article coming from a professional in the field of publishing content for internet marketing, affiliate marketing, niche marketing and or blogging sites.

Reading The Article

inspired me to write  and submit a reply mentioning another writer.  A simple man writing letters to his friends to inspire them in life.  Give them hope, help them to set goals, and how to achieve their goals through the 1 man, the writer of the letters had come to know on a personal basis.   The writer of these marvelous letters showing us how have faith!

Hello Sean, I started not to read your posting about the person covered here.  Basically, I skimmed through portions of it because I didn’t want to read it at all.  But I ran across one of your statements which I am going to paste below for your reader and you to use for a comparison:
The 2 mentioned above are just a couple of his wonderful letters.  A few other copies of his letters are called Colossians, Philippians, and Galatians.  You will really enjoy reading those, too.

“Though I’ve always been drawn to great lyricists and songwriters, I’d never heard anyone able to effectively indulge satire, rage, sorrow, shame, guilt, regret, power, passion, loneliness, bravado, stupidity, genius, leadership, idiocy, misogyny, sympathy and, believe it or not, tender compassion.”

The writings I am recommending are not from a lyricist or a songwriter instead they are from a simple man writing letters to his friends while he is in prison.  He writes more on the positive areas mentioned in your statement I pasted above.

This writer effectively writes about leadership, power, passion, and yes, tender compassion.  This writer, also, writes of the guilt, sorrow, and shame our walks bring us while etching out our own paths in life.  This writer gives us the full insight of how our paths can be walked in the light and as the light of the world, because of 1 man.

Some of his letters are called books and have been published world wide.  They have been read, discussed and dissected by millions of people.  Scholars, teachers, professors, dictators, emperors, kings, politicians, laymen,  and all walks of life.

Come to think of it, the writer of these letters has stood in front of scholars, teachers, professors, dictators, emperors, kings, politicians, laymen and all walks of life to witness and testify of this 1 man.

I, personally, believe 1 of the best of his letters to read first is called “Ephesians”.  Once you start reading the letter, just like a great novel, don’t stop reading it until you have finished it.

Once you have finished “Ephesians”, the next awesome, awesome letter of this person to read is called, “Romans”.  Most people refer to this letter as his “Book of Love”.

As I was writing this reply, I noticed one of the areas missed in the quote above is the word “faith“  In our business of internet marketing, affiliate marketing, and/or niche marketing, if we do not have “faith” in ourselves and goals we have set to accomplish, we will fail.

This writer of these marvelous letters wrote another fantastic letter to a group of people talking to them about the word “faith“.  He gives them example after example of people who learned to have “faith” and the successful results of the “faith“.  After he gives the examples of these very successful people in their walks through life, he lets everyone else in on the formula of how to be successful. Sounds a lot like the squeeze page of a internet marketing page, doesn’t it?  Trust me, it isn’t!

Let me mention something about the successful people in the examples the writer discusses. They started out just like all of us, people with nothing but a dream, a goal, one that could and can be accomplished.  Their dreams contained a vital ingredient, “faith“

This letter of “faith“,  by this wonderful man is called Hebrews. Check it out!  You may never be the same. You may never look at your dream the same as you had in the past.  You many never set your goals the same way you had up to the point of finishing reading this letter.

As a veteran of internet marketing, affiliate marketing, and/or niche marketing, my recommending the reading of this man’s letters will change your outlook on your business and the way you conduct your business as it becomes successful.

Ways to Relax Before Starting on Your Video Marketing Venture

Videos are great ways to connect with people. In marketing and for personal use. It’s especially potent in marketing. It creates credibility and trust as seeing a video makes that person much more real.

Not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera though. Some have never done it before and some are just plain nervous with a camera pointed at them.

But it’s only natural to be nervous when making a video. You want your video to be natural and informative. People can tell when your nervous. So here are a few ways to help you relax and get comfortable before making a video.

- Create a script. Make out a script before you even pull the camera out. Now practice this script until you are comfortable and can remember it fairly easy. It will make it much easier when you turn the camera on.

- Practice in front of a mirror. Practice your script in front of a mirror. Watch what you do and what you look like. Catching those little nervous ticks that everyone has, is a way to be aware of them and get out of those habits.

- Wear something nice. Wearing something nice can empower you and raise your confidence. Pick something out that just makes you feel like a hundred bucks. This simple little thing can make a huge difference.

- Pretend your doing it for someone you know. Think of someone that you are comfortable with and imagine doing the video for them. You want your tone to be very conversational. Thinking of someone your really comfortable with will help keep your speech more natural.

- Imagine that the people watching your video are in their underwear. Taking from the old saying for actors: Imagine the crowd is naked, or in their underwear. Thing is, there might actually be a lot of them in their underwear!

- Try a form of meditation. Sit somewhere you can relax. Close your eyes and relax. Take deep breaths in through your nose and out your mouth. This is just one way to meditate but it will relax and clear your mind.

These are just a few ideas to help you relax. Everyone is different and have different ways to relax. Find what works well for you and do it.

The main thing you need to do if you want to market through videos is to just do it. “Practice makes perfect” as they say. And it’s true, the more you do and learn things, the easier they get.

Just write your script and practice making the video until you are satisfied. Things will get easier the more you do it.

Getting Started With Online Video – The Easy Way!

Have you ever thought about making and posting an online video?

If so, then I ask…”What’s stopping you?”

Maybe it’s a profound fear of looking like an idiot.

Understandable. But I can tell you from experience, you’re always going to be far more critical than anyone else. So you just have to get over it.

When I made my first video I thought I was having a bit of a bad hair day. But I posted it anyway. Then lo and behold a friend spontaneously posted a compliment about my hair when she saw the video. Go figure.

Now, if you’re willing to make a little bit of a fool of yourself, you can do like Lou Bortone, The Online Video Guy. His videos are a hoot with crazy costumes and fun personalities. I love watching them and know his stuff has gone viral (loutube).

But you don’t have to do anything crazy to make an effective video. Just offer valuable information in an upbeat manner. And be authentic. People will love it.

Of course, maybe you’re stuck because you don’t know HOW to actually record, edit, format and upload video to the Web.

Problem solved!

Below are exactly the steps I take. I’m not an online video expert by any means. But I’ve had people who saw my videos get in touch because that got them interested in hiring me. You can do the same.

So, here’s how to record, edit and post a video online in 9 simple steps…

1) Buy a Flip video camera. They cost about $125 (you don’t need the fanciest one) and are well worth it-even if you already own a traditional mini-dv recorder. Some people recommend getting a Web cam instead. I know they’re cheaper but they don’t come with all the features of the Flip you’re gonna need to do this. Plus, you can’t take a Web cam with you…And that’s half the fun.

2) Set up an account at either YouTube.com or MySpace.com. Or both.

3) Script and/or outline your video and practice it a couple times. Shorter is better. I shoot for between 30 seconds and 3 minutes. Longer than that and you gotta be talking about something really interesting or you’ll lose people. Visual aids are good if you want to hold people’s attention for longer chunks of time.

4) Spend a few minutes making a couple test videos then record the real thing. I often simply hold my arm out and aim the camera back at my face to record my videos. I’ve also put it on a little tripod and strapped it to a tree. You should note that while they say it’s got a 12 ft range, I’ve found 6 ft or less is optimal for decent sound.

5) Once you’ve got a video you like, plug your Flip into your computer USB port and wait for the software to auto load. Now you can edit and save your video. And it’s dead easy. If you go into “create a movie” you can even add basic opener and closer slides that fade in and out.

6) Once it’s all ready to go, just choose to share your video online and the software will give you a choice of posting it on YouTube, MySpace or prepping it for email. Make your pick and follow the prompts. Once it’s done just click the link to “return to browser” and you’ll go directly to the login page of that site.

7) Log in to your account and choose to edit your video. Here you need to add important bits like title, description and keywords. Be sure to include your Website URL at the start of your description with http:// before the www. Change any other settings you’d like while you’re there as well. I typically make comments allowed only with approval but always allow public sharing.

Post your video at tubemogul.com. I learned about this from Lou Bortone. This little service will repost your video on tons of other sites automatically. Way cool!

9) Let everyone you know, know. Email about it. Post it-or a link to it-on your Website and blog. Twitter about it. Stick it on your Facebook page…You get the idea.

I’ll admit, getting your first video out there can feel a little scary. But I promise once you do one, you’ll see how easy it really is and start having fun.
